Job Summary

TYLIn is seeking a Bridge Lead to join our Philadelphia Bridge Sector team. Currently the team, operating from Philadelphia, is small but with the support of the other regional teams (NJ and MA) there is so much potential to deliver a greater number of innovative design projects. You will be able to develop the current engineering team and grow the team headcount.

You will be able to utilize your experience and knowledge of PennDOT processes and people to support further growth providing you the opportunity to make a positive impact on the business and create a sustainable pipeline of projects. If you have Pennsylvania Turnpike Commission (PTC) experience, then that will be incredible but if not, it is something you will be able to gain in this role.

Responsibilities & Qualifications

Overall, this role is to act as Project Manager on bridge design projects throughout the lifecycle of a project, from identification of the opportunity right through to delivery, and all the things in between. Due to the breadth of TY Lin's engineering activities, there will also be opportunities to collaborate with other teams (particularly highways and transportation) supporting them with relevant projects in your local area.

Responsibilities and Skills 10-20+ years of experience PennDOT experience including experience of successful project delivery is required Pennsylvania Turnpike Commission (PTC) experience is desirable. Achieves financial/operational targets with major impact on the sector results Contributes to the development of goals for the sector and to planning efforts (budgets, operational plans, etc.) Acts as a key technical resource Responsible for providing guidance, coaching and training to other employees within job area Engineers review and sign off on complex engineering reports and standards PE and relevant professional designations
