About the role

The Associate Project Manager will assist Project Management teams on capital project delivery and solutions for clients, with direct accountability for project delivery. This position requires monthly travel to different parts of Delaware. Projects will be comprised of admin and retail capital improvements, and move management related projects.

What you’ll do

  • Support Project Management team to manage all facets of project management (budget, schedule, procurement, quality & risk) for individual commercial real estate projects including planning, design, construction, occupancy and closeout.

  • Assist and support Financial Class A interiors MAC projects including moves, refresh, restacks, furniture, etc.

  • Implement project documentation governance aligned with company and client requirements. Ensure project data integrity and documentation is accurate, timely and coordinated.

  • Track progress of each project against goals, objectives, approved budgets, approved timelines. Reports status and variances. Crafts action plans to meet objectives, budget and schedule.

  • May manage smaller projects as assigned. May manage third party project delivery resources/team (typically smaller team) and be responsible for tracking performance and motivating team members.

What you’ll need

  • Bachelor's degree and one to three years of architectural or construction background or move management experience. In lieu of a degree, a combination of experience and education will be considered. AEC experience should include construction project management, owner's rep or project management experience.

  • Excellent written and verbal presentation skills and the ability to optimally present information. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to provide efficient, timely, and courteous service to customers.

  • Intermediate skills with Microsoft Office Suite. Ability to read and understand architectural drawings. Working understanding in MS Project is helpful. Knowledge of leases, contracts, and construction practices preferred.
