Job Description

We are currently recruiting for an Associate Director, US Oncology HCP Marketing, Lung Cancer (alliances). This position will be accountable for steering key elements of Health Care Provider (HCP) marketing and will help developing and executing the launch plans for an antibody drug conjugate in lung cancer. This position will require outstanding directing in many different areas including go-to-market launch planning, partnering with customer-facing teams, scientific strategy planning, and cross-functional partnership with alliance teams. The position is a Hybrid Role (combination of in-office and work from home ability) that may also be based in either Upper Gwynedd, PA or Philadelphia, PA.

As marketing roles across the US Oncology organization are evolving and broadening, this position is designed to be a flexible marketing role that may focus on any aspect of marketing over time based on business needs and/or the capabilities and development needs of the team. The initial focus of the role is outlined below, but the role could include or shift to other aspects of marketing in the future such as HCP strategy, guiding agile digital promotions, data analytics/ performance reporting etc.

  • Guide the development and execution of HCP go-to-market plans and launch tactics for an antibody drug conjugate in lung cancer in partnership with alliance teams.

  • Act as the brand point for field team strategy and execution (e.g., providing marketing guidance for national sales meetings, launch webcasts, field input team meetings, sales training etc.)

  • Monitor & track field execution metrics against goals across all customer-facing teams and identify opportunities to optimize field team effectiveness.

  • Direct and manage the development of scientific strategy in alignment with brand strategy and ensure alignment with relevant alliance teams.

  • Develop and execute robust Scientific Leader engagement strategy, congress planning, and booth execution in alignment with brand goals.

  • Develop the medical education efforts in partnership with alliance company cross-functional teams and pull through the scientific narrative into medical education programs

  • Partner with Medical Affairs on advisory boards to gain KOL perspectives on scientific data and planning engagements with Scientific Leaders during/after key scientific congresses

  • Work with cross-functional stakeholders to prioritize and facilitate internal resource trade-offs (e.g. promotional reviews, field priorities, budget planning, etc.)

Education:

  • Bachelor's Degree (BA/BS)

  • Preferred: Advance Degree (MBA, PharmD, etc.)

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Minimum 5 years pharmaceutical/ biotech knowledge with at least 3 years of brand marketing/sales

  • Strong stakeholder management/negotiation, relationship building, and ability to influence within and across organizations

  • Demonstrated ability to successfully work in a complex matrix organization with exceptional partnership to obtain desired results.

  • Strong problem solving, project management, and written/ verbal communication skills.

  • Knowledge bringing promotional materials through legal, regulatory, and medical review.

  • Requires approximately 20% travel, including some weekends.

Preferred Knowledge and Skills:

  • Prior U.S. Oncology HCP Marketing, Promotion, and/or Sales is strongly preferred.

  • Product/Indication launch knowledge – preferably in oncology

  • Developing brand strategy and implementation across multiple indications

  • Demonstrated ability to use data analytics and/or customer and market insights to make business decisions.

  • Ability to define, gather, and evaluate information, opportunities and threats in the external environment including from competitors, policies and other market events.
