Neshoba General Hospital is seeking a compassionate and skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our healthcare team. The LPN will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and support under the supervision of registered nurses and physicians. The ideal candidate will possess a valid unrestricted Mississippi LPN license and demonstrate proficiency in general LPN duties and responsibilities.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, performing wound care, and assisting with activities of daily living.
  • Collaborate with registered nurses and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans.
  • Monitor patients' vital signs and report any changes in condition to the appropriate medical staff.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, documentation, and charting.
  • Demonstrate effective communication skills, both written and oral, when interacting with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
  • Deliver excellent customer service and interpersonal support to patients and their families, fostering a positive healthcare experience.
  • Utilize computer systems for documentation, electronic medical records, and communication.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
  • Project a positive attitude and professional demeanor at all times.

Qualifications:

  • Valid unrestricted Mississippi LPN license.
  • Proficiency in general LPN duties and responsibilities.
  • Accountability and reliability in fulfilling job responsibilities.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and oral.
  • Excellent customer service, interpersonal, and computer skills.
  • Ability to multitask and adapt to changing priorities.
  • CPR certification preferred but not required.
  • Previous experience in a nursing home or skilled nursing care setting is preferred.
