Primary Purpose:

Complete any and all tasks assigned by the Store Manager or Assistant Manager including opening duties, closing duties, sweeping all floors daily, mopping all floors daily, cleaning bathrooms daily, emptying trash daily, cleaning lobby windows daily, cleaning garage door windows weekly, picking up and delivering customers to and from home and work, picking up and delivering new parts and tires as needed, oil changes, tire rotations, tire replacement, tire balancing, alignments, battery tests, starter tests, alternator tests, a/c services, brake inspections, brake service, vehicle inspections, transmission fluid exchanges, coolant exchanges, P/S fluid exchanges, and other minor automotive services and repairs.

  • Completing assigned tasks and repairs including cleaning checklists, oil changes, tire rotations, vehicle inspections, brake nspections, tire replacement, tire balancing, alignments, preventive maintenance services, test drives, weekly, opening, and closing check lists.

  • Completing inspection forms, explaining what needs to be done and why.

  • Communicating, documenting, and demonstrating automotive service needs and conditions including required repairs, suggested repairs, and preventive maintenance.

  • Clean an maintain the appearance, order, and operation of all 10% service equipment, including A/C machines, Diagnostic Scanners, Research Computers, Transmission Fluid Exchangers, P/S Fluid Exchangers, Engine Coolant Exchangers, Battery Testers, Air Compressors, Alignment Equipment, Tire Balancers, Tire Changers and Brake Lathes.

  • Keep shop floor area clean and free of debris.

  • Keep clean and maintain employee break room, bathroom sink, mirror, toilet, lockers, laundry, trash, refrigerator, and microwave.

  • High School Diploma/GED required

  • 3+ months of experience in general automotive repair preferred

  • Must be able to bend, stoop, climb, slope, craw, grasp, kneel, lift, reach, twist and stand for extended periods of time
