Pay & Benefits of the Apprenticeship Project Coordinator:

  • $55,000 to $65,000 per year plus full benefits.

  • Gain experience in the renewable energy industry.

  • This position will have direct influence and have a large impact on the success of apprentice’s careers.

    Responsibilities:

  • Assist with apprenticeship onboarding and progress reviews.

  • Delivers on-going training to employers on apprenticeship program implementation, sustainability, and federal/ state compliance requirements.

  • Provide mobilization and execution support to employers at the construction project site. Ensure compliance of federal and state apprenticeship and prevailing wage requirements which includes making sure all legal postings are visible at the job site and collect payroll.

  • Initiate daily inspections and leads investigations regarding compliance problems with federal government requirements; Communicates with employers on corrective actions.

  • Oversight functions anticipating and preventing issues that may lead to penalties or fines for the employer.

  • Ensure our apprenticeship program delivery meets the client’s expectations and acts as quality assurance on the program.

  • Resolve complaints and concerns in a problem-solving manner from employer and apprentices.

  • Oversight function of apprenticeship documentation ensuring it is accurate, timely and follows federal & state guideline s.

    Qualifications:

  • Education: HS Diploma/GED required.

  • Experience in one of the following: HR, safety, training, construction, or project management.

  • Able to work at the job site daily.

  • Ability to travel to home office in Houston for 2 weeks of initial training.

  • Proficient in HR specifics such as verbal, written, communicating, multitasking, data analytics, coordinating, prioritizing, and organizing.
