RiverMead Lead Rounds Cook in Peterborough, New Hampshire

We are seeking a dedicated Full-Time Lead Rounds Cook to join our culinary team.

Base pay starting at $21.85 per hour.

We offer weekend differentials, health benefits including dental and vision, retirement match of 6% and PTO.

Job duties and responsibilities include:

Preparing hot and cold entrees, soups, vegetables, appetizers, salads and desserts, using preparation sheets and recipes for our multiple dining venues, as well as our Health Center and special events/functions. The ideal candidate will bring experience, culinary passion, attention to detail and a commitment to consistently delivering exceptional cuisine to our residents.

Other duties include performing food preparation using proper food handling techniques. Utilizing techniques that comply with safety and sanitation rules and practices. Completing required food temperature checks. Performing advance preparation as indicated. Completing preparation records and storing food items properly at close of meal service.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent required.

Minimum of (2) years professional cooking experience required.

ServSafe certification (or willingness to become certified) required.

Takes oral and written instruction well.

Ability to work in a fast paced team environment.
