Your Day-to-Day

  • To ensure workshop is in compliance to After Sales Operating Standard (ASOS) & Workshop SOP

  • To manage all technical, Extended Warranty Program (EWP), inventory & human resource matters

  • Ensures efficient and effective execution of management plan

  • Manage daily workshop operation and service centre activities(i.e. Reception, Job Allocation, vehicle repair/ servicing & delivery) to ensure efficient workflow and report to superior

  • Manage and review the work performance of workshop and service staff

  • Practice Plan, Do, Check & Action (PDCA) on process to identify the daily WIP rates, and to reduce or eliminate any bottleneck processes comply to policy & processes

  • Monitor and ensure that all reports require by After Sales Department are accurately accomplished and submitted on set deadlines by concerns personnel

  • Attend to internal & external OSH related matters and report to superior & DOSH in time. Take necessary corrective and preventive measure (CAPA) to prevent the reoccurrence of the accident.

  • Ensure all the workshop equipment is sufficient and in good working condition. Maintenance should be carried out to the equipment (hoist, air compressor, spray booth, etc.) according to schedule and ensure the equipment license is valid and up to date

  • To monitor inventory regularly and check monthly part cycle count and annual stock count

  • All contracts, renewals, licenses related matters must be attended in timely manner

  • Maintain EWP claim processing procedures according to SOP

  • Maintain technical updates to increase technician efficiency and improve Fix It Right the First Time performance

  • To coordinate with staffs to ensure the cleanliness and operation of facility is well maintained

  • Ensure proper handling/ disposal of waste products in compliance with government regulations

  • Conduct safety induction training and toolbox briefing (by weekly basic) to the workshop staffs and keep the training/briefing records documented properly

  • Any other assignments that may be assigned in accordance with your roles and responsibilities from time to time

  • Assist in handling periodical internal audit

  • Plan, analyzes and manage workshop financial

  • To ensure payment from debtors is collected in timely manner. Bad debts are to report immediately to superior for next course of action

  • Ensure cash collected is bank into company account on daily basis

  • Train, coach and evaluate employees on company processes, safe work procedures and other skill required to carry out their jobs

  • Motivates, guides, and mentors team members to exceed goals and creates a positive environment

  • Identify training need for all staffs

  • Act as highest source of information for all services, inventory and product knowledge concern and work process matters (for both employees and customers)

  • To achieve CS targets set by company

  • Handle customer complaints immediately and according to the company policies and procedures

  • Develop & enhance strong service brand image and build rapport & relationship with customers

Your Know-How

  • Candidate must possess at least a Professional Certificate, Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree, Mechanical/Automotive or equivalent.

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Aftersales operations.

  • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.

  • Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

  • Good interpersonal and communication skills.

  • Ability to work independently, self-motivated and result driven.

  • Ability to organize and prioritize tasks including delegation of tasks when appropriate.
