IBM Ecosystem Technical Enablement Specialist - Automation in Petaling Jaya, Malaysia

Your Role and Responsibilities

If you have a passion for learning the latest technology and want to travel to different APAC cities to work with others, this is the right role for you. We are seeking a Technical Enablement Specialist with a unique combination of technical, development, and partner facing and communication skills. The role is focused on evangelizing, enabling and supporting current and future technical ecosystems around our product portfolio, which includes AI, Data, Automation, Security and Sustainability software products. This includes supporting business partners with technical expertise during their project deliveries.

Your Role and Responsibilities

  • Become a technical expert on implementing our products to our partners

  • Conduct in person and virtual training for our partners across APAC countries

  • Up to 50% travel

  • Support partners during project implementation

  • Maintain and expand technical enablement materials and web content to support new and existing ecosystems and product integrations

  • Collaborate with partners on the creation of customer facing collateral, events, and demonstrations, including webinars and other speaking opportunities

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

  • Solution implementation experience

  • Technical proficiency in Linux environments, Kubernetes/OpenShift

  • Hands on integration experience with public cloud security capabilities and environments.

  • Domain knowledge in one or more of the following: Database, Data Governance & Integration, ML (Python) and AI, BI reporting, API platform, SRE / AIOps, Cyber Security, Storage technology, Sustainability, Asset Management

  • Strong collaboration and communications skills (written, verbal)

  • Ability to work remotely and flexibly with a variety of team across time zones

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise

  • Technical hands-on operational and integration experience with IBM Software Solution or IBM Storage Products

  • Development experience with Cloud, Linux, OpenShift, container, agent and network based solutions

  • Hands on development & integration experience with AWS and/or IBM Cloud
