Title:
Graduate Electrical Engineer
Are you an Electrical Engineer with eagerness to develop professionally in engineering service s including power system modelling, design, and construction support?
Do you have an interest in medium and high voltage electrical systems?
Do you like variety and have an interest to work in challenging projects ?
Due to continued growth and project wins we are looking for a Graduate or Junior Electrical Engineer to join our Infrastructure team in Perth to provide support to r esource, infrastructure , port a nd defence projects.
Position Overview:
Key responsibilities include:
Assist in preparing electrical designs for LV and MV power systems, including creating drawings such as single lines, layouts, GAs, and cable schedules.
Perform basic electrical calculations like maximum demand, cable sizing, and equipment selection under the supervision of senior engineers .
Support the development of engineering documents, including design reports, scopes of work, equipment schedules and drawing registers.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary internal and external project teams and help coordinate drafting throughout the design process.
Occasional site visits during design, construction and commissioning stage.
Skills & Experience Required:
Bachelor’s degree or higher in Electrical Engineering.
E lectrical engineering e xperience i n infrastructure, utility, or resources environment i s desirable but not essential .
Design knowledge of applicable electrical codes and standards (both Australian and international).
Problem-solving mindset with attention to detail and accuracy.
Flexible, adaptable, and passion for continuous professional growt h .
Australian Citizenship preferred with the ability to obtain Defence clearance.
