Full-Time Recruiter

The Human Resources Recruiter performs full cycle recruiting of field personnel and ensures all staffing needs are met to facilitate the desired goals of the company.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBLITIES:

  • Consults with HR Manager to determine daily recruitment needs to ensure all staffing requests are met in a timely manner

  • Works closely with project management team to understand staffing needs and job specifics; ensure workforce database accuracy accordingly

  • Evaluates and understands job requirements and skill set required for each job site

  • Sources and recruits candidates by using applicant tracking system, online job boards, social media, as well as attending local and regional job fairs

  • Determines applicant’s skill level, work history, and experience by phone interviewing, documenting responses, and reference checking to analyze and compare candidate qualifications, to job requirements

  • Places advertisements via company website, online job boards, and labor service providers as needed

  • Ensures the applicant tracking system is up to date, accurate, and utilized to ensure equal employment and affirmative action purposes

  • Administers and processes newly hired employees including orientation, onboarding, paperwork, drug testing, training requirements etc.

  • Responds to applicant inquiries and requests

  • Attends and take notes in weekly workforce projection meeting

  • Assists the Staffing Coordinator facilitating equitable distribution of talent across all company projects including finalization and coordination of weekly assignments

  • Develop and foster relationships with vocational/technical schools, colleges, universities and training providers as sources for new talent and training of existing resources

  • Follows the hiring procedures policy in all aspects of recruiting function

  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed; m ay perform a variety of duties including those of other positions

    EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE:

  • High school diploma or GED required. Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management or Business Administration preferred

  • Two or more years of experience working in a similar position preferred

  • Previous experience using MS Office required

  • PHR or SHRM - CP Certification preferred

    KNOWLEDGE / SKILLS / ABILITIES:

  • Must possess strong interpersonal skills

  • Must be able to effectively read and interpret information, present numerical data in a resourceful manner, and skillfully gather and analyze information

  • Ability to prioritize and plan work activities to use time efficiently

  • Must be organized, accurate, thorough, and able to monitor work for quality

  • Must be dependable, able to follow instructions, respond to management direction, and be able to improve performance through management feedback.

  • Ability to work successfully as a team and independently with moderate supervision

  • Ability to understand and follow directions

  • Ability to communicate effectively in both oral and written form.

  • Experience with applicant tracking system, and HRIS strongly preferred

    PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Ability to hear, comprehend and speak

  • Ability to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms

  • Ability to work with standard office equipment

  • Ability to sit for long periods of time

    OTHER:

  • Overtime may be required

  • Holiday and weekend work may be required
