Primary Duties and Responsibilities

  • Create and manage the stage schedule for each design change

  • Prepare and lead cross-functional Kick-off Meetings so all departments understand their responsibilities

  • Create and Manage the part list as the design/information changes for each program

  • Gather and review cost estimation sheet from AMC-s to ensure accuracy

  • Conduct variance analysis due to changes in design/process to benchmark for future activity

  • Work with Engineering team to develop cost reduction ideas

  • Complete the presentation materials that will be presented to the Executives

  • Coordinate value analysis/value engineering (VA/VE) activities with Sales and Engineering teams

  • Create, maintain, resolve open issues list related to cost planning activities

  • Provide supporting documents/analysis to Management in preparation for the Global Conference

  • Work with AMC-s to confirm capital investment that is needed for certain parts

  • Drive optimization by being actively engaged in continuous improvement efforts (Kaizen)

  • This role requires the completion of other duties as assigned

    Qualifications and Competencies

  • Bachelor degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration is required

  • Proficiency using Microsoft Office Suites 2007 and newer is required

  • Ability to consistently meet deadlines is required

  • Effective verbal, non-verbal, and written communication skills are required

  • Ability to sustain a high degree of professionalism in interacting with internal and external customers is required

  • Effective attention to detail, problem solving, analytical and organizational skills is required
