The Toro Company Facility Maintenance II - Day Shift - Ditch Witch in Perry, Oklahoma

Day Shift: 6:00 AM-2:30 PM

Facility Maintenance II at Ditch Witch:

This position will cover Fleet Maintenance, working primarily on material handling equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Safely operate various equipment, powered and manual, to maintain company equipment.

  • Possess good mechanical skills.

  • Possess and maintain a good driving record.

  • Help maintain company equipment of all types.

  • Be willing to work overtime as needed.

  • Meet or exceed quality and safety expectations.

  • May perform other duties as assigned.

Work Environment:

  • Manufacturing plant conditions (indoors, with variable temperature and humidity, noise, and dirt).

  • Use of personal protective equipment including safety glasses, steel toe shoes, and hearing protection.

  • Physical hazards such as powered vehicle, bicycle, and pedestrian traffic, pressurized gases and liquids, sharp objects, falling objects, moving machinery, electrical arc-welding equipment, and materials handling.

  • Working with hazardous materials, including fuels, solvents, oils, grease, paints, cleaners, and pressurized gases and fluids.

  • Multiple, extremely variable, and rapidly changing objectives and priorities.

  • A high level of teamwork and cooperation with supervisors and co-workers.

Job Qualifications:

  • Demonstrate appropriate reading, clerical, and basic math skills.

  • Be able to regularly handle items weighing up to 50 pounds, and occasionally handle items weighing in excess of 50 pounds.

  • Have a good work record, including indications of strong self-motivation, reliable attendance, attention to quality, ability to learn new skills, and a cordial, cooperative personality.

  • Have good observational and problem recognition skills.
