Pennridge Family Dentistry Dental Assistant in Perkasie, Pennsylvania
Full time and part time opportunities available. Being available to work some evenings is a must.
Responsibilities:
- Assist the dentist during dental procedures
- Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and equipment
- Take dental x-rays
- Provide patient education on oral hygiene and post-operative care
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
Skills:
- Proficiency in dental assisting techniques and procedures
- Knowledge of CAD (Computer-Aided Design) software for creating dental restorations
- Familiarity with medical imaging techniques for capturing dental images
- Understanding of medical terminology related to dentistry
- Strong knowledge of infection control protocols and practices
- Proficient in aseptic technique to maintain a sterile environment
- Experience with Dentrix
