Notice of Result letters will not be sent to applicants who respond to this flyer. Responsibilities You will read, analyze, and interpret budgetary, legal, regulatory, and accounting reports. You will provide alternative financial management solutions to changing program objectives. You will provide effective and efficient methods for the acquisition and the use of funds to support the organization's programs and activities. You will implement legal and regulatory controls over approved budgets. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: formulating, reviewing and evaluating budget requests and estimates to support plans, programs and activities including presenting and defending budget estimates before authorities and analyzing reports. Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. Education Additional Information This position is eligible for part time, substantial or ad-hoc telework at the discretion of management. This position is covered by the Department of Defense Priority Placement Program. Several vacancies may be filled. A tentative offer of employment will be rescinded if the selectee fails to meet the pre-employment requirements, including failure to report to any of the scheduled appointments.
