ASM Global Ticket Seller in Pensacola, Florida

LOCATION: Saenger Theatre, Pensacola, FL POSITION: Ticket Seller REPORTS TO: Box Office Supervisor FLSA STATUS: Part Time, Non-Exempt ASM Global, the leader in privately managed public assembly facilities, has an excellent and immediate opening for the Part-time Ticket Seller position for ASM/Saenger Theatre. The Ticket Seller is responsible for ticket sales for shows or events by performing the duties listed below. A credit and background check will be required during interview. MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES: Includes the following (other duties may be assigned): Accurately dispenses tickets as requested by patrons using ticketing software and processing purchases made in person and by phone; accepts payment and makes change accurately. Maintains accurate count when selling hard tickets or accesses computer for count of computer printed tickets. Verify and distribute 'Will Call' tickets to patrons. Completes daily ticket sales report. Keeps accurate daily balance sheet of cash received and tickets sold; balances sales and change bank and submits cash to Box Office Manager or Supervisor for audit. Provide guidance related to venue, show and ticket information. Demonstrates excellent customer service skills; responds promptly to customer needs and requests for service and/or assistance. Ability to work independently and handle most box office questions without assistance. Efficiently and courteously answers questions concerning prices, seating, and events. Gives information concerning upcoming events. Files various records and reports and performs related office functions and clerical work as assigned. Performs related duties as assigned by Box Office Manager or Supervisor. COMPUTER SKILLS: To successfully perform job duties, candidate must be computer literate, including word processing programs and spreadsheet experience. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: High school diploma or general education degree (GED). Minimum of six (6) months related experience. Equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience in computerized ticket systems and guest services background preferred. SKILLS AND ABILITIES: Accurately count money and make change. Record sales transactions in computer. Excellent communication, listening, problem solving and organizational skills. Work independently and as a member of a team Ability to stand for extended periods of time. QUALIFICATIONS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
