Ivyhill Technologies LLC Lead Referral Management Clerk (NAS Pensacola, FL) in Pensacola, Florida

Ivyhill is seeking a Lead Referral Management Clerk for a project in the Naval Air Station Pensacola, FL area. The qualified candidate will work as a resource to provide clerical/administrative support in the Referral Management Center for customer service, referral tracking, referral appointing, and reporting activities. Will support and provide guidance for the daily functions of specialty care referral appointing, referral review and coordination, beneficiary counseling and referral tracking at the Military Treatment Facility (MTF.) As a resource, will schedule appointments in a government computer system for primary care, specialty and sub-specialty medical care. Will provide guidance to clerks when scheduling requested appointments, calling patients or responding to secure messaging submissions to schedule, reschedule, and/or cancel appointments as needed, to include appointments for consult/referral specialty care within the MTF or at civilian facilities.

Requirements

The qualified candidate will possess the following:

  • High school diploma or General Educational Development (GED) equivalency.

  • Ability to read, understand, speak, and write English fluently.

  • General office administrative and clerical skills to perform receptionist duties and answer telephones.

  • Preferred twelve (12) months of healthcare administrative experience in either an inpatient or outpatient care setting within the last five (5) years.

  • General medical ethics, telephone etiquette, written/verbal/electronic communication, and customer service skills.
