ARSIEM seeks a lead Instructional Systems Designer (ISD) to design and deliver Cyberspace Operations (CO) training to Department of Defense personnel. The position will support one of our Government clients in Pensacola, FL.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement appropriate curriculum design and curriculum development strategies to meet specific learning requirements.

  • Design and develop training materials to incorporate content changes identified by stakeholder leads and content subject matter experts.

  • Lead and guide contractor project work teams in implementing design/development strategies. Coordinate all work with the stakeholder Curriculum Managers.

Minimum Qualifications

  • All candidates must possess strong oral and written communication skills.

  • Candidates shall provide classroom instruction that teaches assigned students in the manner described in the course Program of Instruction.

  • Candidates shall conduct practical exercises in a laboratory environment, conduct student study hall periods and provide tutoring/remedial instruction for up to twenty students per class.

  • All candidates must possess the ability to incorporate/impart technical knowledge into their training delivery.

  • Assess student knowledge, skills and abilities to gauge student proficiency in topic area.

  • Deliver instruction via interactive synchronous and asynchronous learning activities.

  • Review and analyze training materials and recommend changes.

  • Bachelor’s Degree plus two (2) years of experience in Cyberspace Operations (CO). Experience in CO is defined as experience in Defensive Cyberspace Operations (DCO), and/or Offensive Cyberspace Operations (OCO).

  • Experience in adult learning with emphasis on providing instruction to large classes.

Required Capabilities

  • Master’s degree in Education, Instructional Systems Design, Educational Technology, or Curriculum Development, and four (4) years of experience within the last eight (8) in instructional systems design or adult education and training development.

  • Instead of the Master’s degree, a Bachelor’s degree in Education, Instructional Systems Design, Educational Technology, or Curriculum Development, with an additional two (2) years of instructional systems design or adult education and training development experience, is acceptable.

Clearance Requirement: This position requires an active TS/SCI with a polygraph. You must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Candidate Referral: Do you know someone who would be GREAT at this role? If you do, ARSIEM has a way for you to earn a bonus through our referral program for persons presenting NEW (not in our resume database) candidates who are successfully placed on one of our projects. The bonus for this position is $3,500, and the referrer is eligible to receive the sum for any applicant we place within 12 months of referral. The bonus is paid after the referred employee reaches 6 months of employment.
