Job Summary:

This opportunity with HCA Florida West Hospital's internal medicine esidency rogram at Pensacola, Florida, offers an excellent opportunity to grow in one’s professional and personal lives. The program director and his team are excited to help pave the journey of their ‘ten’ recently matched Internal medicine residents, and are looking to complement their robust inpatient training with an exceptional experience in the ambulatory clinic as well. The selected candidate will hold a core faculty position and assist in training residents in the outpatient clinic, alongside the program director and another teaching faculty member.

Qualified Candidates:

  • Post graduate clinical experience preferred

  • Teaching experience or past chief resident experience a plus

  • Must be board certified in internal medicine

  • Core faculty will actively participate in clinical supervision, mentoring, and teaching of residents and medical students, didactic presentations, serving on committees, and participating in scholarly activities

  • Minimal call requirement

  • .2FTE administrative time/.8 FTE clinical time
