Finger Lakes Health PHYSICAL THERAPIST in Penn Yan, New York

UR Medicine Finger Lakes Health is seeking a full-time Physical Therapist to support our outpatient services at our Solider's and Sailor's Memorial Hospital site located in Penn Yan, NY. Seeking motivated, energetic individuals to join our team. New graduates are considered and must be licensed or be eligible in NYS for Physical Therapy. The position works Monday through Friday, and some occasional weekends may be required. No holiday or on-call work is required. Eight-hour shifts, on site.

  • POSITION SUMMARY:

  • Under the direction of the Rehab leadership, prepares and carries out treatment plans that adhere to all policy and procedures of the facility and department. Maintains accurate and complete records, daily scheduling, and billing. Works collaboratively with PTA to delegate and oversee treatments.

  • QUALIFICATIONS:

  • EDUCATION:

  • Minimum :

  • B.S. degree from an accredited physical therapy program.

  • LICENSE:

  • Minimum :

  • Licensed, or license eligible to practice physical therapy in the State of New York.

  • PROFESSIONAL CERTIFICATIONS:

  • Minimum :

  • BLS certification required through the RQI system during clinical orientation.

  • WORK EXPERIENCE:

  • Minimum:

  • New graduate considered.

  • Preferred:

  • One to two years of experience.

  • SKILLS:

  • Minimum :

  • Must be able to travel to multiple locations on any given day as requested.

  • Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information with discretion and ability to deal with the public in a professional and courteous manner.

  • Ability to meet deadlines, manage multiple priorities and enhance the spirit of teamwork through effective role modeling.

  • Excellent interpersonal, communication and organization skills.

  • Computer literacy

  • Preferred :

  • Experience with Microsoft Office products and electronic medical records

    Salary Range: $38.72-$41.93
