Join the team that is helping people and changing lives! Pro Action is accepting applications for a HOPE Center Receptionist in Penn Yan. This is a 30-hour per week opportunity. The HOPE Center serves as the main food pantry for Yates County. The facility works to stabilize families in economic crisis and provide assistance with basic needs. As the HOPE Center's Receptionist, some of the daily essential functions of your job will include: Managing a central intake process and ensuring that all customers complete all needed information Entering data for tracking and reporting purposesCompleting and submitting vouchers for bill paymentHelping to obtain documentation required to secure assistance for customersMaintaining and updating an email distribution listRecruiting, training, and providing support to food pantry volunteersWorking with partner agencies and community groups to obtain donationsRequirementsThis position requires a high level of attention to detail, excellent data entry skills, and the ability to use Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, Outlook). The successful applicant will be required to manage a significant amount of information and be highly organized.
