(Remote) Sales Development Representative Job Description:  

Seabrook Technology Group are hiring a talented Internal Sales Development Representative professional to amplify our sales team’s efforts.  If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and have a knack for closing deals, then this is the opportunity you've been waiting for. We are a SaaS enabled service business focused on the Life Science Manufacturing industry and are looking for a team player to join our fully remote workforce as a contract resource.  

Remote Status:  Seabrook Technology Group is a remote-first company so there will never be any concerns of being asked to return-to-work to a physical office space.  The position will be 100% remote.  This position is remote and you are able to work anywhere in the United States.

Skill Set: 

  • Maintain a self-starter attitude while creating outreach strategies for new lead generation methods. 

  • Anticipate customer needs by conducting market research to identify their paint points and then use this knowledge to hunt for new leads. You need to keep your finger on the pulse of industry trends and market developments to identify lucrative opportunities. 

  • Support marketing and sales teams and sales representatives on outbound strategies and lead generating efforts. 

  • Setup, monitor and attend meetings with prospects while handling the introductions and follow-up with the sales representatives. 

  • Be the first point of contact for new business prospects and determine the next steps for each prospect moving forward. 

  • Establish active communication and engagement with prospects to create new leads and sales opportunities. 

  • Collaborate with marketing and sales teams by bringing innovative lead generation ideas to each weekly meeting. 

  • Have a strong work ethic and are eager to learn and make new connections with prospects. You must love finding opportunities using market research, cold calling, social media outreach and email campaigns, and you are focused on continued learning and improvement.  

  • Demonstrated ability to work solo and be a productive team member, making outbound calls daily.  

  • Must be an excellent problem-solver and willing to collaborate in an exceedingly competitive environment. 

  • Willing and able to travel within the USA and Europe to support the team at events or training courses provided by the Vendors whose software solutions we resell. 

Job Responsibilities: 

  • Conduct research to identify potential customers and target accounts. 

  • Generate new leads through various channels, including cold calling, email campaigns, and social media outreach. 

  • Qualify leads to determine their interest and fit for our products and services. 

  • Schedule appointments for our sales representatives to meet with potential customers. 

  • Follow up with leads and prospects to nurture the relationship and move them through the sales funnel. 

  • Collaborate with the sales team to develop and refine lead generation strategies. 

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in our CRM system. 

Qualifications: 

  • Educational Background: A degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related fields is preferred. 

  • Sales Experience: Demonstrate a proven track record in sales, especially in a B2B setting (SaaS experience would be ideal). At least 5 years previous job experience within sales or SDR role.

  • Experience with cold calling techniques and objection handling on-the-fly.

  • Communication: Master the art of communication, building rapport with ease and eloquence. 

  • Goal Getter: Thrive in a results-driven environment, consistently exceeding leads targets. 

  • Tech Skills: Navigate CRM software (preferably Hubspot) and Microsoft Office Suite with finesse. Have experience using LinkedIn Sales Navigator or other similar prospecting applications while keeping track of dead-end leads. 

  • Customer-centric: Commit to delivering exceptional service with integrity and professionalism. 

    Travel Requirements:  Must be able to travel up to 10% of the time for company meetings, as needed.

Salary:  $54K with an annual bonus potential up to $16,200
