Job Summary:

In Systems Integration and Test (SI&T) we integrate, verify, and validate our products. We put our systems together, exercise them in the lab or in the field, measure and analyze performance, and make sure our products work the first time and every time. To accomplish this we develop plans and procedures, debug and evaluate system functions and interfaces, develop test environments, and work hand-in-hand with our customers.

We are seeking a TPY-2 Pelham Onsite Engineering Lead to serve as the representative for the AN/TPY-2 program to the Pelham Test Facility (PTF). This position has overall responsibility pertaining to the AN/TPY-2 test site operations, training, maintenance, quality/mission assurance and security within the PTF.

This position is an onsite role at the Pelham, NH location.

Responsibilities to Anticipate:

  • Handling material shipments (both incoming and outgoing from the site) and managing assets, tools, spares, and test equipment

  • Coordinating and executing equipment installs and removals from site test assets as well as access for any visitors and new team members

  • Using logistics software (e.g. ALCS) for tracking of assets, baselines, shipments, and Job Orders

  • Maintaining all AN/TPY-2 program areas to ensure compliance with all EH&S & Quality standards as well as other security and compliance training needs

  • Ensuring Foreign Object Elimination (FOE)/WPO/ESD/Tool controls are applied by all site and transient personnel

  • Enforcing the AN/TPY-2 Pelham Lab Operating Procedure, AN/TPY-2 Pelham Site Operating Procedure, Foreign Object Sensitive Area Plan, and AN/TPY-2 RF Safety Plan (formerly known as ‘EEEC’)

  • Representing the AN/TPY-2 Program for PTF support teams (Site incident response team, etc)

Basic Qualifications:

  • Typically requires a Bachelor’s in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 5 years of prior logistic experience.

  • Experience leading or executing site logistics such as tool, material shipments, and/or equipment installation

  • Experience with logistics software (such as ALCS and PRISM) to track equipment, material shipments, and/or job orders

  • Experience with Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and EH&S / Quality Standards

  • Active and transferable US Government issued security clearance is required prior to start date. US Citizenship is required, as only US citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience maintaining asset configurations and baselines

  • Ability to multi-task across the needs of the site including concurrent coordination and logistics efforts

  • Knowledge of installing and configuring electronic hardware, software installations on hardware devices, network configurations, and operations of software in HWIL/SIL facility

  • Experience in systems engineering (including requirements development, system test evaluation, integration, verification and validation) maintaining multiple test setups, troubleshooting technical issues hardware/software, electronics, keeping system records, performing system configuration audits, and/or executing Digital Simulation simulations for integration purposes

  • Experience with creating plans/procedures, schedules, test scripts, maintaining audit records, and/or conducting performance analysis for verifying and validating radar performance

  • Strong customer interaction skills and willingness to perform tasks with various site facility leads, while communicating with remote stakeholders, or at a stakeholder site

  • Remote : Employees who are working in Remote roles will work primarily offsite (from home). An employee may be expected to travel to the site location as needed.

The salary range for this role is 77,000 USD - 163,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Specific benefits are dependent upon the specific business unit as well as whether or not the position is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement.

Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.
