Westchester Jewish Community Services CLINICIAN, Outpatient Trauma Team in Peekskill, New York

Overview:

Join our team as a Licensed Clinician at the Trager Lemp Center: Treating Trauma, Promoting Resilience. This full-time position offers the opportunity to provide vital services to community members affected by trauma and/or crime. Training and supervision in working with children with problematic sexual behaviors and other evidence-based practices is provided. Compensation ranges from $55,000 – $73,000 annually.

Responsibilities:

As a valued member of our team, your responsibilities will include (but are not limited to):

  • Providing direct service in various therapeutic modalities, including ongoing cases, crises and intake.

  • All recording and statistical procedures required by the agency including case records, monthly statistical sheets schedules, surveys, etc.

  • Maintaining necessary patient related contacts with other agencies and resources (courts, schools, etc.) including written material, telephone contact and personal visits as necessary.

  • Supervising staff or students when required.

  • Collaborating with outside service providers as needed.

  • Providing emergency and general clinical coverage for the respective TLC office/clinic.

    Requirements:

    We are seeking candidates who possess the following qualifications:

  • MSW and a valid license to practice Social Work in the State of New York. LMHC’s are also encouraged to apply.

  • Bilingual English/Spanish is preferred and may be required for some positions.

  • Thorough knowledge of modern social work principles and therapeutic techniques for individuals and families affected by sexual abuse and family violence.

  • Knowledge of Netsmart is a plus.
