Our greatest asset has been, and will continue to be, our people.  We are looking for an experienced and motivated individual to fill the position of Construction Specialist in our US Onshore Resources & Carbon Management (ORCM), Production Operations unit based in Pecos, Texas.

 

This position is responsible for providing construction support for the Maintenance Capital Program.  Duties include but are not limited to the following:

 

·         Provide HES leadership

·         Responsible for the construction management of maintenance capital projects 

·         Directly manage construction contractors, vendors and support services

·         Provide field inspection of construction activities

·         Understand the facilities materials and design 

·         Maintain project schedule, implementation, compliance to design and commissioning

·         Ensure coordination with additional support groups to implement entire project design

·         Participate in project schedule development in early phases of the project

·         Identify and support mitigation of field obstacles that may impact project execution

Qualifications

Required Knowledge, Experience, Skills and Competencies:

·         Candidates should have at least 10 years of construction experience.

·         Familiar with Upstream oil and gas facilities operation and maintenance

·         Strong computer skills including proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, etc.)

·         Strong verbal and written communication skills

·         Excellent time management skills

·         Ability to work in a team environment with minimal supervision

·         Candidate must be self-motivated, versatile and willing to learn

·         Candidate must be a team player and be able to work on multiple assignments concurrently

·         Material & labor planning, cost and schedule estimating

·         High proficiency using construction drawings, survey drawings and installation specifications

·         Fundamental understanding of MOCs, HAZOPs and PSSRs

 

Education:

High School Diploma/GED
