Inside Sales Representative 

Role Summary 

Our client seeks an Inside Sales Representative to join their rapidly growing team. The Inside Sales Representative will initiate the sales process by preparing proposals, completing the account setup, and understanding customer requirements. They will partner with the sales team to increase sales and customer service in their region. 

Key Results Areas 

  • Experience in Pipes, Vales, and fittings PVF experience necessary

  • Present and pitch company products and services to current and potential clients 

  • Create and maintain a database of prospective clients 

  • Make outbound calls to potential customers daily 

  • Follow up on new leads and qualify referrals resulting from inbound lead generation 

  • Assist in creating RFP responses to potential clients 

  • Maintain sales materials and attend sales training classes as directed to enhance current and future product knowledge 

  • Expand sales in existing accounts by introducing new products and services 

  • Establish and maintain current client and potential client relationships 

  • Act as a liaison between customers and other operations of the branch to ensure customer expectations are exceeded 

  • Maintain expectations via CRM (Customer Relationship Management) to populate status reports, including daily call log activity, follow-up calls and emails, and adherence to daily and monthly sales goals 

  • Communicate new product and service opportunities, special developments, information, or feedback gathered through activity to appropriate company leadership 

  • Participate in marketing events like seminars, trade shows, and telemarketing events 

Skills & Qualifications 

  • High school diploma or its equivalent 

  • Highly motivated and possess the ability to work effectively in a team environment while also able to work independently 

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Outlook and Excel 

  • Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills 

  • Excellent negotiation and time-management skills
