FirstService Residential Compliance Inspector in Pearland, Texas

Job Overview:

This position will assist in the assessment of residential properties in accordance with community policies, procedures and standards. The Inspector must be proficient in the areas of administration, physical facilities assessment and home owner relations daily. An ability to work flexible hours, evenings and weekends is required periodically.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Ensures a high level of service including timely resolution of applicable resident concerns, coordinates services and requests, and conducts inspections of physical assets.
  • Acquires and maintains necessary knowledge of state regulatory agency statutes and each client’s community’s documents, policies and procedures.
  • Participates in tracking and response to homeowner service request.
  • Maintains timely and positive communications with homeowners.
  • Performs daily residential property inspections for deed restriction violations.
  • Ability to adjust to changing circumstances.
  • Follows safety procedures and maintains a safe work environment.
  • Participates in company culture to ensure daily positive interaction among members of the onsite team.
  • Performs other job-related duties as required.

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Education/Training: High School diploma or equivalency required.
  • Experience/Knowledge/Abilities: Strong working knowledge of customer service principles and practices. Ability to read, analyze, and interpret procedures, regulations and community documents. Strong customer service, time management and interpersonal skills required.
  • Computer literacy: Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
  • Driving Requirements:

  • Driving as required using own transportation.

  • Must be able to operate a golf cart.
  • Valid driver’s license and automobile liability insurance required.

As a full-time non-exempt associate, you will be eligible for full comprehensive benefits to include your choice of multiple medical plans, dental, vision. In addition, you will be eligible for time off benefits, paid holidays and a 401k with company match. Occasional travel may be required to attend training and other company functions.

Compensation : $19 / hour
