What You Will Achieve

How You Will Achieve It

  • Contribute to completion of project milestones and organize own work to meet project task deadlines.

  • Assist in the Development of Laboratory Data Systems.

  • Collaborate with Research Informatics team on data system.

  • Analyze user requirements, models and specifications in order to convert them to technical solutions.

  • Attend regular meetings withfunctional area leaders to review and monitor various data system projects.

  • Contribute to end-user requirements documents for various data systems.

  • Supportthe end-user testing of various data system builds against end-user requirements to ensure that these systems function as intended.

  • Create system validations plans and test cases for validating solutions.

  • Execute test plans (test scripts), provide documented evidence, report issues (recorded deviations) and verify fixes.

  • Review and approve various standard operating procedures (SOPs), as assigned.

  • Author, review and approve technical reports, as assigned.

  • Design, build, configure, program and/or validate computer code, master data, reports, forms and interfaces.

  • Follow change management processes for routine changes, for examplechange controls.

  • Provide day-to-day end-user support and take a leadership role in monitoring "help desk" support queue.

Qualifications

Must-Have

  • Bachelor's Degree. with 0 to 2 years of experience

  • Understanding of web development technologies and/or scripting languages.

  • Knowledge of the software validation lifecycle (SDLC).

  • Understanding of data collection/analysis, MS Excel and/or MSOffice.

  • Good written and verbal communication skills.

Nice-to-Have

  • Deep knowledge of various programming languages, computer architecture and/or algorithms

  • Masters Degree

  • Strong understanding of pharmaceutical standard operating procedures (SOPs).

  • Experience with designinganddeveloping databases.

  • Knowledge of the software validation lifecycle.

Work Location Assignment:Flexible

The annual base salary for this position ranges from $64,600.00 to $107,600.00. In addition, this position is eligible for participation in Pfizer's Global Performance Plan with a bonus target of 7.5% of the base salary.
