Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Must regularly and directly communicate with the Operations Team.
  • Position to directly report under the Operations Manager
  • Project Start-Up:
    • Facilitate job turn over process from estimating to project team and have a firm understanding of scope and budget.
    • Review and approve submittals.
    • Submit DOH notifications as required.
    • Attend pro-con meeting
    • Arrange for access, keys, parking etc.
    • If necessary, meet with Field Supt. at site to go over project. Ensure team understands scope of work and has the necessary plans, specs, approved submittals in hand.
    • Prepare/review job start up sheets (Material and Equipment).
    • Coordinate any special requirements such as passes, travel, waste disposal, testing, subcontractors and air monitoring consultants.
  • Field Operations:
    • Personally inspect every assigned project on a weekly basis.
    • Review Daily Reports/Timesheets and turns it in to Payroll on a daily basis.
    • Analyze proper resource usage (crew size, means and methods, equipment, etc).
    • Resolve any job site problems.
    • Ensures profitable completion of all projects within the estimated costs.
    • Meets or improves on the original scheduled completion dates while maintaining cost at or below budget.
    • Accurately project costs and profits on each project.
    • Reports to the Operations Manager and communicates job progress at the weekly Production Meetings.
    • Readily recognizes possible change order opportunities.
    • Works with Field Superintendent to manage quality control, safety, productivity and other operational issues.
  • Administrative:
    • ?Works with the Contract Administrator to project accurate % progress billing on a timely basis.
    • Reviews and ensures all close out documents on the projects are correct and complete.

Qualifications/Requirements:

  • Knowledge of federal and state regulations.
  • Ability to get clearance for base passes.
  • Ability to organize and prioritize to meet deadlines.
  • Must be flexible in work hours.
  • Verbal, written and interpersonal skills
