Responsibilities

Cook/Chef (Scratch Cafeteria)

Type: Full–time (32 hours per week)

Hours: Tuesday – Saturday 1:00pm – 7:30pm

Location: Pearl City, HI

Base pay: $16.00 to $22.00 per hour depending on experience & shift

Benchmark is a residential facility for adolescent boys from all over the country!     Qualifications

    Chef/Cook Responsibilities:

  • Preparing and serving scratch made meals to our residents and staff

  • Cooking from scratch using fresh ingredients

  • We serve about 25 (combined residents and staff) people 3 times a day / 365 days a year!

  • Checking in food orders, maintaining cleanliness, monitoring temp logs, etc.

  • Compliance with all regulatory and health department guidelines

    Applicant Qualifications:

  • Experience preparing appealing and healthy meals from scratch

  • Energetic, creative and driven to provide a superior food experience

  • Experience working in a cafeteria-style or similar organization is helpful but not required

  • Food Handler Certification

  • High School Diploma/GED
