School Physical Therapy Aide:

Matheny is a special hospital and school for children and adults with medically complex developmental disabilities. Mathenys mission

is to provide exceptional care and an optimal quality of life for children and adults with special needs and medically complex developmental disabilities.

Our School is currently looking for Physical Therapy Aide to supports the School Therapy programs by maintaining supplies and equipment

and following the instruction of a therapist for student activities.

Some duties, include:

Follows instruction of therapists to support student activities.

Follows plan arranged by therapists to work with students in supportive groups. including alternate positioning, sensory group, etc.

Provides input to therapists and/or teachers for needed department/student supplies and equipment.

Demonstrates competence in working with students special equipment

Position Requirements

Education/Certification:

60 credits from an accredited college , required

Current CPR Certification , preferred

Full-Time/Part-Time Full-Time
