[BBandE, Inc. is looking for a Senior-Level Environmental Engineer/Scientist/Geologist to support several of our existing federal and private sector clients.

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:]{arial",sans-serif"=""}

  • Technical Document Reviews.
  • Task and project management support.
  • Environmental planning support.
  • Cost estimating support.
  • Site investigation support including preliminary assessments, remedial investigations, feasibility studies, etc.
  • Sample and data management for multiple federal and industrial clients.
  • Develop project plans for clients (e.g., Risk and Communication Plans, Sampling and Analysis Plans, etc.).

[Job Qualifications and Skills:]{arial",sans-serif"=""}

  • Working knowledge of local, state, and Federal environmental statutes and state-specific regulations including Resource Conservation and Recovery Act (RCRA), Comprehensive Environmental Response, Compensation and Liability Act (CERCLA), Clean Air Act (CAA), Clean Water Act (CWA), Emergency Planning and Community Right-to-Know Act (EPCRA), Superfund Amendments and Reauthorization Act of 1986 (SARA), and National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (NPDES).
  • Experience with Air Force/Air National Guard Defense Environmental Restoration Program (DERP) requirements.
  • Technical writing experience: experience or ability to document meeting discussions and prepare meeting minutes.
  • Ability to gather and organize project data, conduct analysis, prepare reports, and provide recommendations without assistance.
  • Expertise indata management and tracking including utilizing databases and web-based information systems, schedule tracking, etc.
  • Professional Geologist (PG) or Professional Engineer (PE) Certification, preferred.

Experience with federal clients such as Air National Guard, Department of the Interior, and the United States Army Corps of Engineers

Field work (e.g., soil, soil vapor, and groundwater sampling, specifically including experience with PFAS).
