The Business IT - Cybersecurity Partner will align with the SI EP business to support developing and implementing strategies for cybersecurity. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge and experience in cybersecurity strategies for applications, IT and OT environments, as well as GRC topics.

As an IT - Cyber Partner, you will be responsible for assisting the SI EP business in implementing cybersecurity solutions to improve Siemens cybersecurity maturity. This will include working with manufacturing facilities, distribution centers, and offices across Canada, United States & Mexico. The IT - Cyber Partner must work closely with the IT and Cybersecurity organizations, to stay up to date on latest cybersecurity threats and trends. The IT - Cyber Partner will work with the SI EP business to understand their security needs and assist in designing solutions to address their specific cybersecurity challenges.

You will make impact with the following responsibilities:

  • Support the identification of security risks for SI EP applications, point of contact for asset owners seeking guidance into business impact and classification/protection of EP IT / OT assets.

  • Assist with OT maturity assessments throughout SI EP factories and distribution centers.

  • Support security vulnerability resolution and provide technical guidance and support.

  • Review application and infrastructure architecture decisions from a cybersecurity perspective.

  • Provide technical guidance and support to SI EP business on cybersecurity best practices and compliance requirements.

  • Act as technical Subject Matter Expert for SI EP plants on cybersecurity matters

  • Support security awareness training where required.

  • Align regularly with SI EP management, IT, and Cybersecurity organization.

You’ll win us over by having the following qualifications:

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in information’s systems or related field.

  • 5 plus years of technical experience in developing and implementing IT solutions, including critical infrastructure and applications.

  • 3 plus years of technical experience in developing and implementing Cybersecurity solutions.

  • Strong knowledge of cybersecurity principles, standards, and best practices for IT and OT environments.

  • Experience with cybersecurity tools and technologies, such as SIEM, XDR, MDR, understanding of Zero-Trust strategy, vulnerability management, and application hardening.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Cybersecurity Certifications (SSCP, CCSP).

  • Proven analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Willingness to travel to customer sites in North America.

Travel:

  • 30% Travel - both domestically and internationally.

  • International travel experience and the capability to operate in foreign cultures required.

  • The pay range for this position is $97,500 - $167,200. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications, and premium geographic location.
