RMC is hiring for a System Administrator who will provide System Administrator support to an RDT&E environment. The selected applicant will manage the functionality and efficiency of a group of windows workstations and servers and perform hardware and software installations.

The selected applicant will possess the following:

  • Support virtual and physical workstation and server configurations.

  • Perform general IT requirements, installation, configuration, maintenance, and security in a classified or unclassified network environment.

  • Provide Windows 10 workstation and Server 2019 administration.

  • Support the virtualization of Windows and Linux systems.

  • Provide ACAS/Nessus vulnerability and scanning support.

  • Support the maintenance and administration of Microsoft Active Directory.

  • Monitoring performance including monitoring disk space, utilization, capacity and availability.

  • Support ISSOs in implementing and supporting cyber security standards to include NIST and Risk Management Framework (RMF) C&A Standards and project reporting requirements.

  • Create and maintain Active Directory user accounts, and install hardware/software.

  • Perform system backup and recovery.

  • Perform PKI maintenance for DoD systems.

  • Administration of infrastructure including but not limited to: servers, zero clients, malware protection software, HBSS, syslog servers, databases, etc.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in RDT&E environments.

    Education Requirement:

  • A Bachelor’s Degree and three to ten (3-10) years of experience in related infrastructure, operating systems, system administration work is required.

  • Or, Six (6) years of additional related work experience or an Associate’s Degree and four (4) years of additional related work experience may be substituted for a Bachelor’s Degree.

    Certification Requirement:

  • The selected applicant must have DoD 8570/5239 IAT Level II Certification (Security + CE).

    Clearance Requirement:

  • An active DoD Top Secret clearance is required to start.

  • Applicant selected may be subject to a security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
