KBR Program Management Analyst, Journeyman in Patuxent River, Maryland

Title:

Program Management Analyst, Journeyman

KBE is seeking a Program Mangement Analyst, Journeyman to join our Team ! In this role, you will provide support services for program management, acquisition, engineering, integration and sustainment planning to the F/A-18 A/F and the EA-18G Program in Patuxent River, MD. This position will provide critical program analysis and interpretation of technical data to Program Integrated Product Teams (IPTs). The successful candidate will participate in meetings and collect, complete, organize, and interpret technical data.

Role and Responsibilities:

  • Works closely with the Product Support Manager (PSM) and Assistant Program Manager, Logistics (APML) to coordinate, manage, organize, and drive Sustainment actions/plans/activities.

  • Drafts documents for PSM/APML review/approval, ensuring proper format, grammar, spelling, etc. for briefs, white papers, weekly accomplishment reports, and responses to data calls.

  • Assigns/responds and submits data call responses.

  • Monitors task and actions across the Logistics/Product Support team supporting PMA-265.

  • Works with PSM and APML to deconflict schedules, work plans, etc.

    Functional Description:

  • Applies analytic techniques in the evaluation of program/project objectives. Analyzes requirements, status, budget and schedules.

  • Performs management, technical, or business case analyses.

  • Collects, completes, organizes and interprets data relating to aircraft/weapons/project acquisition and product programs.

  • Tracks program/project status and schedules.

  • Applies government-instituted processes for documentation, change control management and data management.

Basic Qualifications:

Required Education:

  • Bachelor’s Degree.

OR

  • Associate’s degree plus two (2) years additional work experience may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree.

    OR

  • Four (4) years additional work experience may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree.

OR

  • Three (3) to ten (10) years of experience performing duties as described above.

  • Must be able to assess, apply, and recommend improvements to established business processes; and have the ability to balance priorities in order to work effectively in the fast-paced program office environment.

  • Must be highly proficient Microsoft Office (Word; Excel; PowerPoint; Project & Outlook).

  • Must be a self-starter and be able to co-lead meetings and capture actions items and meeting minutes.

  • An active SECRET clearance is required.

  • General knowledge of NAVAIR policies, procedures, terminology, and requirements is preferred.

Desired Experience:

  • Two (2) years of experience supporting NAVAIR.
