Eagle Systems, Inc. Electrical Engineer (ESI0028) in Patuxent River, Maryland

Electrical Engineer:

  • Candidate requires a BS degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited ABET college or university.
  • Must have at least 4 years of experience supporting RDTandE programs for military aircraft/weapon systems, including 2 years planning, directing, and/or participating in aircraft and laboratory testing.
  • Functions entail providing support for electrical power quality testing and evaluation, including voltage and frequency transients/modulation, voltage distortion, and power interruption on various aircraft, shipboard, ground vehicle, and vendor prototype components and equipment.
  • Candidate will interface test articles with programmable power supplies and data acquisition equipment to conduct power quality tests, followed by analysis of test article responses for compliance with MIL-SPECS/MIL-STDs.
  • Candidate must have experience with MIL-STD-704, MIL-STD-1275, and FAA RTCA DO-160. Position also requires knowledge of test planning, data collection, data analysis, test report writing, and presentation of results.
  • Further requirements include specialized knowledge and experience in the design, installation, operation, calibration, maintenance and repair of power quality test facilities, associated equipment, and their control systems.
  • Candidate must be able to obtain/retain a Secret level DoD security clearance, and may be required to perform other tasks on an as-needed basis.
