Overview:

JHNA is currently seeking a Computer Systems Analyst to support our NAVAIR customer located at NAS Patuxent River, MD.

Responsibilities:

  • Comprehend, review, and analyze physical, software architecture and design for software systems and their components decomposition.
  • Serves as a part of the government Software Support Activity (SSA) team on large complex software intensive weapon system programs on software sustainment.
  • Interact with a wide diversity of software stakeholders for logistics and international partners.
  • Apply discipline of computer science or software development knowledge with minimum five years of experience in relevant job fields to support software sustainment for Fleet deployment on large complex software intensive weapons programs.
  • Plans, and manages software update release paperwork and deployment for large software intensive programs to ensure compliance to NAVAIR sustainment engineering process such as Engineering Change Proposal and Technical Directives
  • Coordinates preparation of software technical specifications and statements of work, evaluates proposals, monitors, and guides contractors' progress, and manages software technical solutions to ensure highly adaptable and resilient software design.
  • Support software technical configuration to control software baseline and component design update and apply knowledge of software structure and systems to perform software retrofit activities.
  • Exchanges information and viewpoints with other functional teams, private industry, and other government organizations.

Required Qualifications:

  • Candidate must be a U.S Citizen with an Active Secret Clearance
  • 5+ years of relevant experience
  • A Bachelors Degree in a STEM field from an accredited college or university
