Technology Security Associates, Inc Administrative Assistant in Patuxent River, Maryland

JHNA Technology Security is currently seeking an Journeyman Administrative Assistant, to support our government customer at NAWCAD at NAS Patuxent River. The ideal candidate will have experience providing administrative support to senior executives. Work location in government spaces on NAS Patuxent River, full time with no option for remote work or CWS.

Perform administrative and record keeping functions in support of NAWCAD. This includes routine administrative office functions such as:

  • drafting correspondence and memorandums;
  • coordinating schedules;
  • responding to data calls;
  • tracking action items;
  • organizing and maintaining paper and electronic files;
  • updating and maintaining documentation, correspondence, records, or directives;
  • distributing mail; maintaining the office supply inventory; and
  • ensuring security procedures are complied with
  • scheduling, coordinating and supporting meetings and events
  • assisting with processing domestic and foreign travel, and
  • liaising between the government customer and supporting or supported agencies and programs via e-mail, phone, and monthly reports.

Required:

  • Excellent interpersonal skills; organized, flexible and level-headed; skilled with MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook. Experience with DTS is a plus.
  • 5+ years of experience as an Executive Assistant or Administrative Assistant
  • HS Diploma
  • Eligible for SECRET clearance (Interim required to start)
