Description

TheDirect Support Professional (DSP)provides support and skills training to people with developmental and intellectual disabilities in a residential setting and within the community.

Patterson 311is a spacious cozy 6 bedroom home with 6 amazing elderly individuals. Staff who work at this residence will assist and encourage these individuals with their everyday goals and daily life skills. Working with these individuals will make work feel more meaningful and independent. If you are interested in making a difference is someone’s life please consider working forPatterson 311.

A high school diploma or GED is desired. Post-high-school education in Human Services is a definite plus. An acceptable NYS driver's license and basic computer knowledge are a must. An informative, paid new hire orientation is provided in a comfortable learning environment. Training will also include Van Certification, SCIP, First Aid/CPR, and Medication Administration certification.

HOURS: 38 hours weekly - Thursday / Friday 10p-12p & Saturday 10p-8a

Starting Salary: $18.44 - $20.29 per hour with additional shift differentials as applicable

Minimum Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED is preferred

  • Acceptable NYS Driver's License

  • Computer skills
