What is the Job all about?

Primary job function is to ensure the operation and performance of the Global Network environment. This is achieved through the monitoring of network management systems for trends and alerts, responding to ticket requests and incident notifications, and resolving issues within Service Level Agreements.

This role will be directly reporting to the Manager of IS Infrastructure Services East and to be based in Ortigas, Pasig City.

Your main responsibilities:

  • Provide Tier II escalation support and resolution for complex networking issues

  • Participate in and coordinate projects

  • Ensure safe and efficient use of systems and solutions within the given area according to business requirements

  • Provide professional and best-in-class support for the business

  • Ensure lifecycle on all CIs used in Grundfos

Your background:

  • Support and Maintain Global Network across private and public clouds

  • Follow Network Architecture standards

  • Prep, Test and Configure network infrastructure relating to;

  • New or changed designs

  • New hardware devices and replacements (Routers, Firewalls, Load Balancers)

  • Advanced Configuration and Implementation level support on network infrastructure device• Routers, Switches• Firewalls• Load Balancers• ALB/ELBs, Gateways, Security Groups

  • Advanced Configuration and Implementation of network technologies around Products and Applications;• VPN (IPSec & SSL)• OSPF and BGP routing protocols• VLANs, 802.1q, 802.1x, STP, VRRP, HSRP• Load Balancing, security, firewall policies• Participate in Incident, Problem, Service and Change Management• Work with Problem Management team on Root Cause Analysis• Create and Maintain documentation• Develop Migration/Implementation procedures ensuring network stability is maintained at all times• Communicate in an effective and professional manner with internal and external customers
