About the Role

  • Serves as the primary contact to the leadership team in driving new business opportunities and develop strategic engagement within each Audience Measurement vertical sales teams.

  • Provide support in developing country-specific synergies across verticals to establish Nielsen as the go-to brand within the industry and with external stakeholders;

Key Responsibilities

  • New Business Development

  • Assists the leadership team on the development of monthly / quarterly / annual sales plans to identify growth opportunities with existing and new client groups

  • Deliver agreed quarterly / annual sales targets through new business development

  • Partner and develop with the Marketing team an annual media plan that helps to promote Nielsen as a brand to drive a high number of sales leads;

  • Build internal relationships across business units and verticals for support with identifying opportunities and converting the sale

  • Sales Strategies

  • Accomplish sales activities independently in terms of preparation and delivery of proposal and credentials

  • Supports the business in developing and implementing competitive sales pricing and marketing, marketing, roll-out strategy for new product introductions to the industry

  • Client Engagement

  • Assist leaders in delivering quality services to clients and ensure the services provided to clients are timely and precise according to client business needs and specifications and at the same time meeting the company's quality standards

  • Serve as the primary contact on ad-hoc analysis and responds to questions on content, basic data issues/questions of the clients

  • Completes on-site presence independently which includes responsibilities on data requests, technical basic support and analysis

  • Assist in sales activities in conjunction with senior staff in terms of preparation of proposal and credential presentations

  • Develop strong and trust-based relationships with clients and key stakeholders in the industry

  • Develop a solid working understanding of Nielsen audience measurement solutions along with other relevant Nielsen products to offer to clients a holistic set of insights

  • Collaborate with regional/ global commercial, product and marketing teams to ensure the right portfolio is available to clients in the near and medium term;

  • Maintain an accurate, complete, up-to-date and insightful client business profiles to be shared with senior management

Experiences & Qualifications

  • At least 2 to 3 years relevant working experience in the Media/Advertising/ Sales environment

  • Bachelor's degree is required, Master’s degree is desirable

  • Project management/ execution, account management and client-facing experience

  • High communication skills (communicating with clients, partners, and thought leadership for both inside and outside the company)

  • Excellent written and communication skills

  • Experience of working successfully within a ‘matrix’ style environment
