What We're Looking For:

We are currently hiring a full-time FSQA Senior Compliance Manager. The FSQA Senior Compliance Manager will report to the Director of Quality & Food Safety and will ensure all Twin City Food facilities are in compliance with regulatory, internal, customer and quality assurance related auditing programs. Will serve as the internal audit leader as well as support all facilities in any regulatory, customer or 3^rd^ party audits being conducted.

Required Skills, Education, Certification and Qualifications

  • BA degree in food science or related field is desired, and experience in food processing, quality control, food safety, and microbiology.
  • Must have a valid Washington State driver's license.
  • Ability to communicate in Spanish is a plus.
  • HACCP and PCQI certified or ability to become certified.
  • Working knowledge of quality standards, production methods, microbiology, food processing and USDA grading standards.
  • Must possess strong mathematical, verbal, and written communication skills as well as human relation skills, leadership, coaching, participative management style.
  • Previous supervisory experience and strong management education and/or developed and demonstrated skills which include planning, organizing, goal setting, controlling, self-development, decision making and presentation skills a must.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Act as the internal auditing lead. Develop a cross functional internal auditing team, schedule internal audits across all facilities, conduct internal audits with the team, review audit findings and corrective actions.

 

Lead the internal audit team in auditing all aspects of Quality Management System including regulatory, BRC standards, laboratory practices, Food Defense, Food Safety Plan implementation, GMP's, prerequisite programs, Organic program, non-GMO, Halal, Kosher compliance, and any specific customer requirements.

 

Conduct onsite audits with all TCF and contract storage facilities.

 

Conduct supplier audits as required based on risk.
