Compensation Range $27.00 - $30.00 Hourly Rate Job Description Summary: Occupation as a Boilermaker, under the direction and supervision of designated Field Foreman, General Foreman or Superintendent(s), duties include but are not limited to construct, fabricate, assemble, install, maintain, and repair tanks, boilers, pressure vessels, vats, and other containers. Ability to read and interpret blueprints and drawings. Delegate tasks and assist with training for other employees. Support activities at all jobsites as directed. Job Description: POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES

  • Assist in testing assembled vessels
  • Clean pressure vessel equipment
  • Complete he maintenance documentation
  • Conduct inspections and prepare preventative maintenance reports
  • Fabricate, install, test, and maintain vats, tanks, boilers, and pressure vessels
  • Inspect equipment for proper functioning
  • Install auxiliary mechanisms (fittings, tubes, valves, boiler instrumentation)
  • Install large structures or boilers into facilities
  • Organize and assemble boiling parts
  • Read blueprints for dimensions, locations and position
  • Shape and fabricate parts
  • Weld of small diameter pipe/tube
  • Other responsibilities as assigned

MINIMUM SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Current welding license (recommended) and completion of a pipe welding apprenticeship (if required by the applicable state, city or county) OR NCCER Certification
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications
  • Experience with welding and soldering techniques
  • Ability to learn new skills with attention to detail.
  • Lift and/or pull 50lbs.
  • Climb ladders, work off of ladders, man lifts or other equipment.
  • Willingness to work in various locations and conditions, including outdoors and in confined spaces
  • Ability to maintain a standing position for extended periods of time, fully squat, bend or kneel while wearing a tool belt.
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team
  • Knowledge of safety procedures and regulations related to piping systems
  • Experience working in an industrial or manufacturing environment
