Work Tasks to be performed

·         Agricultural Equipment Operators drive and

control various farm equipment to harvest an array of crops, to include peas and corn with the

attention to detail in their surroundings throughout the operation of equipment in a safe and careful manner. Perform sanitation and inspections at the end of each shift.

·         Controlling machines and processes using either control mechanisms or direct physical activity to operate machines or vehicles, not including computers. Inspect equipment structures or materials to identify the cause of errors or other problems indicated.

·         Report any areas of the equipment that need service to the supervisor or mechanics. Use of hands and arms in handling, installing, positioning and moving materials to manipulate things.

controlan diversos equipos agrícolas para cosechar una variedad de cultivos, para incluir guisantes y maíz con la atención de al detalle en sus alrededores durante la operación de los equipos de una manera segura y cuidadosa. Realizar saneamiento e inspecciones al final de cada turno.

Job Requirements

·         Worker must possess 3 months of agricultural equipment operator experience working on a vegetable farm handling manual task. Applicants must be able to furnish a written statement establishing relevant prior work experience.

·         Work may take place when temperatures are below freezing and above 100 degrees Fahrenheit.

·         May require extensive pulling and/or pushing.

·         May require workers to sit and/or walk for extensive periods of time.

·         Workers will be required to stoop and/or bend over.

·         Lifting requirement 60 lbs.

·         The employer will furnish, without charge, tools, supplies and protective equipment required to perform  the  specified  work.
