This is a job for a Project Superintendent position with a company located in the Pascagoula, MS area. 

GENERAL FUNCTION: The Project Superintendent is responsible for tracking progress on projects, including budgeted man-hours, labor, and related metrics. The role involves identifying project issues, coordinating project scope changes and contingency plans, and keeping station supervisors continually informed of project status.

TYPICAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: The following statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed and are not to be construed as an exhaustive list of all responsibilities: Track progress on projects, including budgeted man-hours, labor, and other key metrics. Identify project issues and coordinate project scope changes and contingency plans. Communicate project status to station supervisors and ensure they are kept informed of any changes or issues. Learn and effectively use the company's planning and operations systems. Apply resource planning and scheduling experience to optimize project outcomes. Utilize basic knowledge of shipbuilding activities, standard marine practices, and general specifications for construction/repair. Communicate effectively and work collaboratively with other supervisors. Maintain a strong focus on quality, production, safety, and environmental aspects of the work being performed.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS: Minimum of 5 years of experience in production craft supervision. Experience in resource planning and scheduling. Basic knowledge of shipbuilding activities, standard marine practices, and general construction/repair specifications. Strong communication skills and the ability to work well with other supervisors. Strong focus on quality, production, safety, and environmental standards.
