This position is for Material Coordinator A

 

Summary : Uses blueprints and schematics to determine what materials are needed to complete the job assignment, locates that material and has it transported to the work area. Works with warehouse personnel to determine availability of or back log of material. Maintains the proper paper work involved in the receipt and placement of material. 

 

Responsibilities :Review blueprints or schematics to verify what materials and their quantity are needed for job completion.Meet with warehouse personnel to ascertain the availability of material in storage or what may be on back ordered. Make arrangements to have available material transported to the job site. Follow up on back ordered material. Maintain paperwork associated with receipt and movement of material.
