Lockheed Martin Information System Analyst in Pascagoula, Mississippi

Description: The selected candidate will become a member of a highly dynamic desktop support group working in a Windows Computing Environment (CE) for the AEGIS Test Team in Pascagoula, MS. The candidate will be required to support, monitor, test, and troubleshoot hardware and software problems, apply instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform IA tasks, provide end user IA support for all CE operating systems, peripherals, and applications. The candidate will also be required to install and operate IT systems in a manner that does not compromise security safeguards and implement and monitor IA safeguards.

Other responsibilities implementation of DOD and component level polices and implementation of applicable patches including Information Assurance Vulnerability Alerts (IAVA) and technical advisories.

Basic Qualifications:

• Good to advanced troubleshooting skills

• Prior experience working in Microsoft Active Directory

• Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance

• Candidate must be able to lift/carry 50lbs

• Work will be conducted naval bases, shipyards, and other industrial facilities. The ability to work in industrial environments and shipboard where access is often by stairs, ladders, and confined spaces, is required.

• Periodic travel may be required including one or two times a year, for up to a week at a time, underway shipboard support may be required.

Desired Skills:

• Security+ highly preferred

• Windows Server OS Certificate

• IA Certification: Can be any one of the following certifications: A+, Network+, or SSCP (System Security Certified Practitioner)

• Knowledge of Remote Server Environments & networking are beneficial.

• Have the ability to apply basic knowledge of IA concepts, practices, and procedures with Windows Computing Environment.

Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
