Position Summary: The Coatings Material Handler is responsible for sorting tank components, staging areas, and feeding the coating line.

Coatings Material Handler Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Organizing Material for Loaders
  • Feeding the Paint Line with Available Work
  • Works off Manifest per Schedule
  • Sets Up Work for the Next Shift
  • May perform other duties as assigned

Coatings Material Handler Quality Responsibilities

  • Visual Inspection

Coatings Material HandlerPM and 6S Responsibilities

  • Forklift PMs
  • Outside Staging Areas/Yard

Coatings Material Handler Skills and Specifications:

  • Ability to safely operate a fork truck
  • Ability to read and comprehend instructions, correspondence, and memos.
  • Solid problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to contribute and work in a team environment.
  • Ability to demonstrate accuracy and thoroughness to ensure first quality of work.
  • Ability to establish and maintain healthy working relationships with people in the course of work.
  • Willingness to work additional hours in order to meet tight deadlines.
