Job Title: Electrical Engineer

Our Client is a Full-Service MEP Firm with a focus in the Life Science, Healthcare, and Pharmaceutical project space. They are hiring an Electrical Engineer with a focus on high level engineering design and electrical studies (selective coordination, short circuit analysis, arc flash, etc.). Our Client is recognized nationally as a top 100 MEP firm and has won several national awards. They allow their engineers to experiment with new ideas, and chase the projects they're interested in. They have a very strong culture, employee focused with internal growth opportunities, and an emphasis on work life balance.

Job Description

Design electrical systems for various projects, ensuring compliance with codes, standards, and client requirements. Conduct electrical studies, including load flow analysis, short circuit analysis, and coordination studies. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to integrate electrical systems seamlessly into overall building designs. Perform medium voltage work, including distribution system design and equipment selection. Prepare technical specifications, drawings, and documentation for electrical systems. Provide technical support during construction, addressing any electrical-related issues that may arise. Stay updated on industry trends, codes, and regulations to ensure designs meet the latest standards.

Hard Skills

  • AutoCAD

  • Revit (is a plus)

  • Electrical Studies (SKM, ETAP, etc.)

  • Low & Medium Voltage

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.

  • EIT/PE license preferred.

  • 6-10+ years of experience in electrical system design and medium voltage work.

  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit plus

  • Proficiency in SKM, ETAP, or similar software

  • Strong understanding of electrical codes, standards, and regulations.

  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

  • Effective communication and teamwork abilities.

  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
