Job Summary

Langan is seeking a Talent Acquisition Intern or Co-op to join its collaborative Human Resources team in Parsippany, NJ. This individual will serve a key function in supporting Talent Acquisition reporting, compliance and program efforts as well as coordinating and assisting human resource partners in the recruiting process. In this role, you will have the opportunity to interface with human resources partners firm-wide to provide coordinative support that drives fulfillment of business objectives.

Job Responsibilities

  • Coordinate job postings on the internal and external website;

  • Conduct job posting compliance processes and ensure state, local, vocational/rehabilitation, veteran, and disability job posting sites and records are up-to-date;

  • Assist with the management of the careers email inbox and candidate inquiries;

  • Support manual reporting processes including data gathering, updating, and auditing;

  • Support recruiters with reviewing resumes;

  • Schedule phone interviews, conduct reference checks, and prepare offer letters;

  • Assist and provide back-up to Talent Acquisition Specialists and Coordinators, as needed; and

  • Perform other duties as requested.

Qualifications

  • Student actively pursuing Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Psychology, Human Resource Management, Industrial-Organizational Psychology, or coursework relating to HR;

  • Prior work experience in an office environment;

  • Strong interest in full life cycle recruitment process;

  • High caliber of self-motivation;

  • Superior interpersonal skills and positive demeanor;

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills;

  • Ability to work independently, remain flexible and handle multiple priorities in a fast paced environment;

  • Strong attention to detail;

  • Sound judgment capability; and

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite.
